Happy Birthday Garrett!

Baby Shower for Amelia

This baby shower cake was made to match the nursery bedding for Miss Amelia who is due to arrive in about 5 weeks. The blocks are made out of vanilla flavored candy and all of the designs were hand-painted on the cake with food coloring.

Cinderelly, Cinderelly!

Little Miss Julie is celebrating her 3rd birthday with a Cinderella themed party. Julie's mom brought me the cinderella barbie and I made the cake to match. Cinderella's dress is made out of cake that was baked in a pyrex bowl and covered in fondant. The flowers are all made out of gumpaste.

Happy Birthday Julie!

Tangled

Ruby is celebrating her third birthday with a Tangled themed party. The toys used to decorate the cake came from the Disney Store, they made my job really easy!

Happy Birthday Ruby

Construction Pals

This cake was made to match the decorations for Leyton's First Birthday. Leyton's theme was Construction pals, so I made this dump truck to match his plates and napkins.

Happy 1st Birthday Leyton!

Happy Chinese New Year

Some of my coworkers have wanted a Sheets Sweets cake for a long time, so they found the first holiday on the calendar that they could celebrate with cake. It happened to be the Chinese New Year. So here is what they got:
The symbol on the front means rabbit. It's the year of the rabbit, so I thought it would be appropriate.
Hopefully everyone enjoyed the cake!

Baby Shower Times Two

I had two baby shower cakes on the agenda this weekend. The first cake was an owl themed baby shower cake. The cake was made to match the invitations that were sent out for the shower.  A group of girls were gathering together to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Jennifer's first baby.
Congratulations Jennifer!

The second baby shower cake was for a diaper shower. All of the guests were showering the expectant mom with diapers. I tried to make the cake match the colors and theme of the party.

Princess Ashley

Princess Ashley was celebrating her first birthday today. Hopefully the cake meets her royal standards!

Austin Lady Eagles Senior Night

I was asked to make a cake for the Austin High School Girls' Basketball team to help them celebrate Senior Night. The idea came from a cake that I found online and I think the replica turned out great. Hopefully the seniors loved their cake!

Busy Weekend!

This weekend was full of caking! I had 4 birthday cakes to make and with a little help from a snow day on Friday I was able to get them done without losing too much sleep :^)

First on the agenda was an iCarly cake for Isabella's 5th birthday. Apparently she's been talking about having an iCarly party since the conclusion of her 4th birthday party! I hope she loved her cake.

Happy Birthday Isabella!
The next cake was for Anna's 10th birthday party. Anna's family always calls her Banana, so her mom wanted the cake to be a banana theme and of course it had to say "Happy Birthday Banana!"

After the banana cake was complete, I moved on to Emily's first birthday cake. Emily's cake was made to match her birthday decorations picked out by her mom (my good friend Lori.) I actually got to attend this party! I love being able to see everyone's reaction to the cake, especially the kiddos :^)

Happy Birthday Emily

Last on the list was a Thomas the train cake for Briley's 4th Birthday. Briley is Emily's cousin, so his birthday was celebrated right after Emily's party. I hope he enjoyed his Thomas cake!

Happy Birthday Briley
